About Once Upon a Practice
Hi, I’m Sam — licensed professional clinical counselor, supervisor, group practice owner, and founder of Once Upon a Practice. I created this space for one simple reason: therapists deserve more than burnout, broken systems, and trying to figure everything out alone.
I’ve lived the chaos of community mental health. I’ve been on this mountain climb of insurance billing. I’ve built a successful group practice from the ground up that accepts insurance, including Medicaid. And now, I’m here to other therapists do the same!
